The spine is the starting place for correction of force production or dispersion problems. The goal is to create as much of a linear or pure rotary vector for forces to travel through. During vertical weight bearing over the spine, any lateral deviation will give vectors a lateral component and will compound even a mild scoliosis. The repetitive nature of life creates even a low level of distortion, that over time will become more permanent.
