One-on-one care with an experienced licensed physical therapist. We bridge the gap between cleared and genuinely ready — testing what your sport actually demands and building the strength, speed and confidence to meet it.
Being out of pain is not the same as being ready. These are the sticking points we see when athletes try to make the jump.
Every plan starts with a real evaluation — one therapist, dedicated one-on-one care, no rotating aides. What we find there decides what we work on.
You get a full session with Bob — an experienced licensed physical therapist — not a handoff to a tech. We take your history, test both sides objectively, and compare what you can do now against what your sport demands.
Failed returns usually trace to a measurable gap. We look at strength deficits, landing and cutting mechanics, control under fatigue, and readiness for your sport’s specific demands.
A criteria-based progression through strength, power, change of direction and full-speed work — so the decision to return rests on testing rather than on a date in the calendar.
A full one-on-one assessment with objective testing: where your strength and control sit now, side to side, against what your sport requires.
A progression built for your sport and your season — strength, power and movement work scaled to what you can realistically keep up between visits.
We advance through change of direction, sprinting and sport-specific work, retesting as we go, until the criteria are met and you are genuinely ready to compete.
Performance Physiotherapy is a cash-based, out-of-network practice. That is what makes the dedicated one-on-one sessions possible — no visit caps set by an insurer, and no treatment plan written around what a plan will authorise.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed. It depends entirely on your plan’s out-of-network benefits, deductible and coverage rules. We are happy to provide the paperwork, but we cannot promise what your insurer will pay.
Clearance usually means the tissue has healed. It does not always mean your strength, mechanics and confidence have returned to the level your sport demands. Return-to-sport work closes that gap and tests it rather than assuming it.
No referral is required — you can book directly. If your evaluation suggests you need imaging, a physician or another specialist, Bob will tell you that plainly and help you coordinate the next step.
By criteria rather than by date: objective strength testing side to side, quality of movement under fatigue, and tolerance of the demands your sport places on you. You will know what the targets are from the first visit.
Performance Physiotherapy is a cash-based, out-of-network practice, so payment is due at the time of service. Bob can provide a superbill or treatment codes that you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement — though reimbursement depends on your plan and is never guaranteed.
Often yes, in a modified role. We will map out what you can join in with, what to hold back on for now, and how to phase you into full participation.
