One-on-one care with an experienced licensed physical therapist. We assess the injury and the movement that produced it, treat what is limiting you now, and rebuild strength and control until you can train and compete at full effort again.
Sports injuries rarely happen in isolation — something upstream usually set them up. These are the presentations that come through the clinic most often.
Every plan starts with a real evaluation — one therapist, dedicated one-on-one care, no rotating aides. What we find there decides what we treat.
You get a full session with Bob — an experienced licensed physical therapist — not a handoff to a tech. We take your history, test the injured tissue, and watch the movement that loads it.
Most sports injuries have a mechanical story behind them. We look at mobility, single-leg control, landing and cutting mechanics, and how your training load has changed.
Hands-on treatment to settle symptoms, then a loading programme that advances through strength, power and sport-specific work until the tissue tolerates full effort.
A full one-on-one assessment: how the injury happened, what it tolerates now, and a straight answer about what is going on and how long it is likely to take.
Treatment built for your sport and your season — hands-on care in the clinic, plus a loading programme scaled to what you can realistically keep up between visits.
We keep adding load as you improve, moving from symptom relief through strength and power to sprinting, cutting and contact — and on to the level you want back.
Performance Physiotherapy is a cash-based, out-of-network practice. That is what makes the dedicated one-on-one sessions possible — no visit caps set by an insurer, and no treatment plan written around what a plan will authorise.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed. It depends entirely on your plan’s out-of-network benefits, deductible and coverage rules. We are happy to provide the paperwork, but we cannot promise what your insurer will pay.
No referral is required — you can book directly. If your evaluation suggests you need imaging, a physician or another specialist, Bob will tell you that plainly and help you coordinate the next step.
It depends on the tissue involved, how long you have been dealing with it, and what your sport demands. You will get an honest estimate at your evaluation, along with the criteria you need to meet before returning rather than an arbitrary date.
Often not. A thorough movement evaluation tells us a great deal about what is limiting you, and imaging findings do not always match how someone actually performs. If anything in your assessment suggests imaging is warranted, we will say so and refer you appropriately.
Performance Physiotherapy is a cash-based, out-of-network practice, so payment is due at the time of service. Bob can provide a superbill or treatment codes that you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement — though reimbursement depends on your plan and is never guaranteed.
Usually yes, with adjustments. Complete rest tends to cost you fitness without speeding tissue healing. Part of the plan is working out what you can keep doing, what needs modifying for now, and how to rebuild load safely.
